After getting a first-round bye in the Class 1A playoffs, the Ethel Lady Tigers didn’t miss a beat in the second round.
Ethel took a 7-0 win in game 1 and won 13-2 to finish off the series.
Ethel coach Tyler McKinley said he was proud of his team for the way they played after a 10-day layoff.
“I thought we played well after a long time off,” McKinley said. “We had 10 days off and that’s a long time to go without playing. I thought we stayed sharp and played well. Now we have to figure out a way to get past Enterprise and hopefully make it to the next round.”
Ethel will now host Enterprise-Lincoln on Thursday and play on the road on Friday. Game 3 would be at Ethel on Saturday if necessary.
