The Winona Christian Lady Stars finally got back on the field this week and split a pair of games last week.
The Lady Stars lost 6-0 to Pillow on Monday and then beat Indianola 17-9 on Tuesday.
Winona’s only scheduled game this week is Tuesday as they travel to Greenville St. Joseph. Winona will then play in the Carroll Tournament on Saturday and play Pillow at 9 a.m. and MRA at 10:15 a.m.

The Lady Stars had only three hits in a shutout loss to the Lady Mustangs.
Pillow scored two runs in the third and three in the fourth.
Pillow outhit Winona Christian 8-3 in the contest. Lennie Wood, Sara Rawles and Kaylah Varnes each had singles.
Brantley Stanford pitched all seven innings and gave up six runs on eight hits and five walks while striking out five.
Winona Christian 17, Indianola 9
The Lady Stars jumped out to a big leading finished strong and took an eight-run win on Tuesday.
Winona scored two in the first and eight in the second. Indianola scored one in the second and two in the third and fourth to cut the lead to 11-5. Indianola scored four in the sixth to cut the lead to 11-9 before Winona scored six in the sixth for the final margin.
Winona Christian had 11 hits and took advantage of seven errors and four walks. Hilary Beckwith was 3-for-4 while Allie Leach was 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs. Lennie Wood was 2-for-4 with three RBIs while Bella Roberts singled, scored three runs and had two RBIs. Teri Cain and Miranda McDaniel each scored two runs apiece.
Allie Leach pitched 4 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on three hits and five walks while striking out three. Brantley Stanford pitched 1 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on four hits and three walks while Allie Rawles got the last out.
