Connie Siggers-Parker was selected and honored at the 2016 Mississippi Business Journal's 50 Leading Business Women awards recently at Hinds Eagle Ridge Conference Center in Raymond.
In its 19th year, the program recognizes and honors deserving women who contribute so much to the state of Mississippi and its communities.
Connie is the daughter of Mrs. Rose E. Siggers and the late Sgt. Robert Lee Siggers. She is married to Pervis Parker, with one son, Kaylon.
Siggers-Parker is an Employee Relations and Engagement Manager for Comcast Cable in Madison. A graduate of Jackson State University and Belhaven University, Siggers-Parker also holds the following Human Resources certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is an active member of the MS Capital Area Human Resource Association (CAHRA) and currently serves as the Membership Chair. Connie is active in her community with local charities, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hinds and Madison Counties, Leadership Madison County, and she is a member of the Madison County (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
In February 2017, Connie will join the other 49 Leading Women in Business honorees as the Mississippi Business Journal names the Business Woman of the Year.
