David Casteel has joined the staff of The Star-Herald as the advertising representative, editor and publisher Joseph Brown announced recently.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of David’s experience, skills and leadership,” Brown said. “David is beloved by the community of Kosciusko and I am excited to see what he will be able to bring to our advertising department.”
Casteel has been a mainstay in the community with over 40 years of sales experience. Most recently, he spent 25 years at Central Office Supply in Kosciusko. Previously, he held various management positions at several Auto Zone locations. David also runs his own antique furniture repair and refinishing business and is employed as a certified lay speaker at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
David is an active member of First United Methodist Church in Kosciusko, having served on several different committees over the years. He is currently a co-director of “His Last Days,” the annual passion play.
A native of Columbus, David and his wife Beverly have resided in Kosciusko for 25 years. The have one son, Russell, and daughter-in-law Callie of Tennessee.
