Several rounds were fired into the apartment of a 24-year-old pregnant female during a shooting at Hickory Hills Apartments Sunday night, Dec. 26.
KPD officers were dispatched at 8:33 p.m. to apartment B-10 in response to the incident. The pregnant woman is believed to have been alone during the shooting and received no injuries, according to Kosciusko Police Chief Chris Wray.
“Officers responded to that apartment complex for a report of a shooting and upon arrival, they found that the apartment had been shot up several times, and that there was a pregnant female inside the apartment at that time,” said Wray. “But she did not have any injuries from gunfire.”
