Several years ago, a church member by the name of Alpaulthenia Cotton sent me this via an email. I recently came across it again while scanning mu documents file in my computer. I shared it back in that day with teh church family in our Sunday church bulletin. Today, I want to share it with you. Before you read it, I want to ask you to think about your priorities. Jesus said, “...seek first the kingdom of God...” (Mt. 6:33) First has always been first! Do my priorities indicate that seeking the kingdom of God is first in my life? What about yours? Think about it and then read this little thing about the Bible and the cell phone.
Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we coudn’t live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go “H....... Where is my bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think, “Where are my priorities.”
Cell phones are ery imprtant items in our walk of life. It would be extremely difficult to have to deal with life without one. No doubt, practically all of us can see ourselves in this little writing. I do not know the origianl author, but whoever it is, I am thankful.
