To the Citizens of Attala County,
I, Regina Jamison Roundtree, would like to ask for your support in helping me become your next Attala County Tax Assessor/Collector.
I’m a life long resident of Attala County. I graduated from Ethel High School and continued my education at Northwest Mississippi Community College. My grandparents are the late James (Vylee) Jamison and also G. W. (Birdia) Smith. My parents are Carl and Mae Jamison. I have two siblings, Craig and Roderick. My children are Dorsetta (Brad) Leavy, Shawn (Jeanette) Teague, Raeneshia and Vylishia Roundtree. I have eight wonderful grandchildren, and I’m a member of Pleasant Hill M.B. Church in Kosciusko.
My experience with the tax office and State of Mississippi certification allows me to meet the needs of the residents of Attala County. I have 30 years of experience serving the taxpayers of Attala County. Qualification and experience are very important factors in being able to operate this office and handle the day-to-day responsibilities incurred by this position. I have qualified as a Collector Revenue of Revenue I and Revenue II, and I am a State Certified Mississippi Collector of Revenue.
I pledge to run this office with honesty, integrity, and respect, and the door will always be open to you — the citizens of Attala County. I will be keeping all current staff. I have always enjoyed helping all the citizens of Attala County, and I would like to continue the same service and respect our office has given you in the past.
On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, please help elect me, Regina Jamison Roundtree, as your next Tax Assessor/Collector.
