CHARLESTON — Beverly Ann Jennings Milam, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, Dec. 10. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 12, at Womble Funeral Home from 12 until 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Magnolia Gardens in Paynes with Bro. Shelly Scallions officiating. Born on September 11, 1952, Beverly was the daughter of the late LP Jennings and Maxine Yarbrough Jennings.

A Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway took place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at in the Dumas Public Library parking lot. The event was open to the public and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
