Rho Nu Zeta Chapter concluded 2025 with a variety of activities with its youth groups. In November, they sponsored a Little Miss Zeta and Little Mr. Royalty Pageant at the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club.
Amaria Bush was crowned Little Miss Zeta. She is the daughter of Ms. Kadesha Blackmon and a 1st grader at Kosciusko Lower Elementary School.
Brandon Banks was crowned Little Mr. Royalty. He is the son of Mr. Kadarius Banks and Ms. Brianna Martain and a 1st grader at Leake Central Elementary School.
Serving as Junior Miss Zeta 2025 is Aubree Seawood. She is the daughter of Mr. Cedric and Mrs. Angelica Seawood. She is a 4th grader at Canton School of Arts and Science.
Serving as Junior Mr. Royalty 2025 is Jamal Jakell Jackson, son of Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Kyesa Jackson. He is a 3rd grader at Kosciusko Middle Elementary School.
Miss Zeta 2025 is Miss Caitlyn Landfair, daughter of Mr. Xavier and Mrs. Tomika Landfair, Sr. She is a 9th grader at McAdams High School. The winners will serve as Goodwill Ambassadors for the chapter at events throughout the year.
During the month of December, the youth groups put together seventy-five “Meals in a Bag” and distributed them in Attala, Choctaw and Holmes counties. Each bag contained enough items to make a complete meal for four.
The year concluded with the Youth Induction Ceremony to welcome four new members into the Amicettes and Archonettes Youth Auxiliaries. Ilona Jones Saffold serves as the youth coordinator along with Charlotte F. Miller, Arnita Riley, Yolanda Talley, Latonya Hardy and Lasonja hardy as youth advisors.
