Vic Gressett, 85, passed away Thursday, April 6, at Baptist Attala Hospital in Kosciusko.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday, April 13, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, Kosciusko with burial at a later date. Visitation is from 10:00 am until service time.
Vic is survived by his daughters Jolene Ethridge (David), Charlene Gressett (Donna); sons Mike Gressett (Beverly), Mark Gressett (Hope); Grandchildren Allen Gressett (Jen), Matthew Gressett (Heather), Katie Summers (Taylor), Will Ethridge (Shelby), Dr. Caleb Gressett, Joshua Gressett, Belle Clark, and Brayden Clark; Great grandchildren Jackson Gressett, Ellie Gressett, Jonas Summers, Talon Grantham, Avery Ethridge, and Luke Gressett; sisters Inez Sims, Betty Crane; brother Larry Gressett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1966, a retired Project Superintendent for Ivey Mechanical, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association and Past President of the Attala County Cattlemen’s Association. He was a Mason and member of Trinity Lodge #88.
Vic was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years Bobbie; his parents Clint and Ludie Daniels Gressett, sisters Ruth Walker, Geneva Murphy, Bonnie Simmons, and brothers Dennis Gressett and Billy Gressett.
