Two Kosciusko police officers were recently promoted to the position of lieutenant.
A ceremony, led by Chief RJ Adams, was held last week at Kosciusko Police Department for Brandon Crowson and Michael "Scotty" Jones —now Lt. Crowson and Lt. Jones.
Jones graduated from police academy in August 2017, and Crowson graduated in February 2021.
“As lieutenant, I will work side by side with my fellow officers to help create an atmosphere of safety and fellowship. I will enforce the law with respect and dignity for those I encounter and will work hard to protect and serve the citizens of Kosciusko,” said Jones.
Both thanked the Kosciusko Police Department for giving them the opportunity to grow as officers and become ready to advance to their new positions in their law enforcement careers.
