Attala County supervisors opened the door for candidates to fulfill the unexpired term of a constable after accepting the resignation of Greg Culpepper effective Aug. 1.
Board attorney Scott Pickle announced Culpepper’s resignation, giving no reason for the departure, and talk soon turned to the process of finding a replacement.
