If you’re a college football fan you will readily identify Team A as Florida State, Team B as Alabama. And this shows why the committee got it wrong.

Tough week of basketball at French Camp

It was another tough week for the French Camp basketball teams as both units were swept by East Webster and Grace Christian.

The Lady Panthers fell 57-25 to French Camp and 38-23 to Grace Christian. The Panthers lost 73-22 to East Webster and then lost a 47-45 decision to Grace.

Winona Christian basketball teams split a pair of games

The Winona Christian basketball teams split a pair of games last week on the hardwoods.

WCS swept Indianola as the Lady Stars won 39-28 and the Stars beat the Colonels 46-37.

Winona Christian was then swept by Oak Hill as the Lady Stars lost 59-29 and the Stars fell 73-56.

The Army and Navy contest never disappoints, and last Saturday was no exception. “The Long Gray Line” of the Army cadets held the Midshipmen on a fourth down play inches from the goal line with three seconds to play to preserve a 17-11 win for the Cadets.
