In what seemed like an improbable scenario just a week ago, Southern Miss upset No. 19 James Madison 81-71 to give the program its first top 25 win since 2011 and handed the Dukes their first loss of the season.

Shootout tournament makes for a barnburner

Kosciusko-McAdams boys basketball, the last of 15 games over two days at the McAdams Shootout, was everything you would expect and hope for in a rivalry game.

It was a true barnburner, with a miraculous comeback to force overtime and a game that was not decided until the final buzzer.
