Steven Wayne “George” Thomas Touchard of Kosciusko, 57, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The Rev. Chris O’Daniel will officiate.
George was born March 24, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, to Roy L. Thomas Sr. and Eva Bolen Thomas. He was a pipefitter for the construction industry.
George is survived by brothers, Roy L. (Michelle) Thomas Jr. of Lucedale, James “Jimmy” (Doris) Touchard of Stonycreek, Virginia, and Michael (Pamela) Touchard of Lucedale; sisters, Becky Hasty of Pascagoula, Beverly Slaton of Picayune; and a lot of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. Thomas Sr. and Eva Bolen, and grandparents, Ruth and Albert Touchard Sr. Brother-in-law Jeffery Hasty (Becky).
Serving as pallbearers are Harlan Ferguson, Doug Hancock, Will Ferguson, Joey Hodges, Roy Thomas and Michael Touchard.
