After sweeping both the Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors and the Noxapater Lady Tigers, the Kosciusko Lady Whippets moved to 7-0 on the year.
In last Thursday night’s doubleheader sweep of Nanih Waiya, Lakelynn Fancher got the start in game 1 and allowed only three runs. The offensive leaders in game 1 were Kelly Hood with a single and one run scored, Gabbie Kelley with a single, Laken Milner with a single and one run scored, Joie Johnson with a double and one run scored, Fancher with a single, Sarah Caroline Henderson with a single and one run scored, AnnaLeigh Jones with two singles and one run scored, Melissa Gowan with a single and America Riley with one run scored.
In game two Fancher got the start again and allowed only one run this time around. Leading the Lady Whippets offensively were Madison Rosamond with a triple and one run scored, Hood with three singles and two runs scored, Kelley with a single and one run scored, Kelly Sheets with three singles, Johnson with three singles and one run scored, Makenzie Ryals with a single and one run scored, Fancher with a single, Jones with a double and one run scored and Gowan with a single and two runs scored.
The Lady Whippets swept the Noxapater Lady Tigers on Saturday by scores of 13-3 and 10-0 and Fancher pitched both ball games. The offensive leaders on the day for the Lady Whippets were Hood with a triple, double and four singles and one run scored, Kelley with three singles and two runs scored, Sheets with two singles and a triple, Johnson with four singles and two runs scored, Jones with a single and two runs scored, Milner with three singles and one run scored, Ryals with three singles and two runs scored, Gowan with three singles and two runs scored, Fancher with a single, Ameria Riley with a double and a single with one run scored and Sania Riley with two singles and three runs scored.
