Kosciusko High School junior wide receiver/defensive back Antonio Harmon was named Most Valuable Defensive Back on the All-Region 4-4A football team that was recently announced.
Three Whippets were named to the Super 22 team, while five were named to the first team, five to the second team, and five others received honorable mention.
Kosy standouts named to the Super 22 were offensive lineman Paul Wood, defensive lineman Davanta Turner, and linebacker Devonte’ Ellis.
Taking first team honors from Kosy were Jeffrey Barksdale, Kentavius Washington, Lucas Price, Damien Foster and Ethan Dawson. Named to the second team were Koby Carter, Mike Thomas, Jaquarius Thomas, Zavier Miler, and Will Carter. Ethan Wood, Marlon Dotson, Will Cook, Davion Roby and Jerrell Erving were named Honorable Mention.
Louisville dominated the individual honors, with Christian Hopkins being named Overall MVP, Jy’Kevious Hibbler Defensive MVP and Drea Shumaker Offensive MVP. LHS was also represented by Most Valuable Defensive Lineman Tyvoris Cooper, Most Valuable Linebacker Demarcus Eiland, and Most Valuable running back Mike Foster.
