Kosciusko High School will be hosting a 10-game prep basketball event on Saturday at the KHS Gym which features 14 different schools.
The Premier Medical Group Classic is set to tip-off at 9 a.m. with the Raleigh and Eupora girls squaring off and features the McAdams girls taking on Greenwood at approximately 4:30 p.m. and closes out the long day of hoops with the Kosy and West Point girls tangling at approximately 7 p.m., followed by the Kosy and West Point boys. Admission to the event is $6.
The rest of the 10-game schedule, which allows just an hour and 15 minutes per game, so actual tip times may vary, is as follows: 10:15 a.m. — Pelahatchie and West Tallahatchie boys; 11:30 a.m. — Canton and Grenada girls follow, but the same two schools are in the boys game; 2 p.m. — West Lowndes and Amanda Elzy girls; 3:15 pm. — Pearl and Amanda Elzy boys; and 5:45 p.m. — Florence and Greenwood boys.
