Kosciusko High School golf team saw its season come to an end last week, five shots shy of advancing to the MHSAA Class 4A State Tournament.
The Whippets competed in region tournament action last week along with West Lauderdale and Northeast Lauderdale at Briarwood Country Club near Meridian.
Kosciusko’s team score was a 380, as the Whippets just missed qualifying for the state tourney.
Jacob Gibson fired an 84 to lead Kosciusko, while Jett Crosby was one stroke back at 85.
