Kosciusko girls' soccer team went 3-1 last week to improve to 4-3 on the season.
The Lady Whippets defeated Yazoo County 7-0 on Monday. Lanna Nunley scored four goals, and Molly Steed, Kaleigh Lewis and Lauren Nowell each scored a goal.
Kosciusko picked up its second consecutive win with an 8-0 victory against Louisville on Tuesday. Raven Pernell scored three goals to record a hat trick, Nunley posted two goals, and AC Pickle and Anna Catherine Cheek finished with one goal apiece.
Kosciusko fell to Pearl, 3-0, on Thursday, and grabbed a 5-1 win against Forest on Saturday. Reid Hutchinson scored two goals, Gracie Singletary added a goal, Cheek recorded a goal and Mary Patton Henderson rounded out the Lady Whippets scoring with a goal.
The Kosy girls and boys soccer teams travel to Starkville on Dec. 6.
BOYS
Kosciusko (3-4) boys soccer team opened last week with a 5-1 road win against Yazoo County on Monday. Billy Paul Russell, Gustavo Orduna, Jorge Orduna, Will Carter and Jon Gant tallied goals in the contest.
The Whippets earned an 8-1 win against Louisville at home on Tuesday. Russell tallied a hat trick with three goals, Alfredo Marin and Jordan Ables tallied two goals apiece and Carter added another.
Pearl defeated Kosciusko 4-0 on Thursday, and the Whippets fell to Forest, 4-1, on Saturday. Gustavo Orduna scored Kosciusko’s lone goal against Forest.
