With 2 more wins, Whippets remain unbeaten in region play

Kosciusko is 6-0 in Region 4-4A baseball following 24-1 and 13-0 victories over Louisville.
The Whippets are on a collision course with West Lauderdale, also unbeaten in region play, setting up a showdown for supremacy when the teams meet April 4 at Kosciusko and two days later at Collinsville.

Raven Pernell is 1st place finisher at track meet

Raven Pernell was the top performer for Kosciusko in the first track meet of the season as the school's only first place finisher with a long jump of 15-11, three inches better than Princess Powell of Meridian, at the Falcon Relays hosted by Columbus High School. She finished third in the same event at last year's 4A state meet.

Lady Whippets improve to 4-0 in region play

Kosciusko softball improved to 4-0 in Region 4-4A with two easy victories over Louisville, both 16-0 in three innings. West Lauderdale and Choctaw Central were also 4-0 through games last week.

Whippets clinch spot in 4A tennis playoffs

Kosciusko tennis had two wins and a narrow loss last week, and in the process officially clinched a spot in the 4A playoffs. The Whippets defeated Louisville and Ridgeland and lost to Eupora.
