The Attala County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar General in Sallis.
The incident happened at about 10 p.m. Monday when the store was closing.
“The store camera captured the individual coming in the store armed with a handgun,” said Chief Deputy Zelie Shaw.
The suspect stood in front of the cashier and took an undetermined amount of money, Shaw said.
There were two employees at the store when the incident occurred. The Sallis Dollar General is located along Mississippi 12.
At this time, the suspect is believed to be a black male but was wearing a mask covering most of the individual’s face and a hat. The suspect also wore gloves and a long-sleeved black shirt.
