Scarlett Delores Goss, 82, of Longview, Texas, formerly of West, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Longview Regional. Visitation is 11 a.m. until noon Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at Unity Baptist Church. Funeral service is noon Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at Unity Baptist Church. Burial will follow at North Union Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Townsend will officiate.
Scarlett was born May 13, 1940, in Goodman to Clyde McBride and Louise Johnston McBride. She was a retired Hostess. Scarlett was a member of Unity Baptist Church near West. She enjoyed cooking and loved taking care of her family.
Scarlett is survived by sons Troy (Robin) Goss of Longview, TX and Randy (Helen) Goss of Ennis, TX; brother Ben (Gayle) McBride of Oakland, TN; sister Millie (Kenneth) Mangrum of Ethel, MS; grandchildren Stacy Goss, Justin Goss, Cole Goss, Brett Goss, and Cale Chipman; and host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde McBride and Louise Johnston McBride; husband Robert Earl Goss; daughter Belinda Goss Case; eight sisters; and one brother.
Serving as pallbearers is Justin Goss, Cole Goss, Brett Goss, Rodney Bruce, Jeffrey Mangrum, and Ken Mangrum.
