Keeping Christ in Sunday tournaments

I traveled to North Carolina recently to watch my 15-year old grandson play in a baseball tournament. It was a good tournament and very well run by the director and all of the teams brought with them an attitude of fair play among good competition.

The Singing Christmas Tree will be held with the Central MS Choir and featuring Terrell Edwards on December 17, at 4:30 p.m. at 146 Hanna Road in Carthage, MS 39057

Some movies teach valuable lessons

As I grow older and hopefully wiser, I catch myself watching movies with a different view than I use to. I love action movies; however I am always watching the characters to see the personality traits portrayed and wondering how many people actually live this way.
