One suspect is in custody and another is being searched for after a shoplifting incident at Boddles Wine & Spirits.
The crime, which resulted in an amount valued at $346.77 being shoplifted, was reported to the Kosciusko Police Department on Aug. 2. Investigations concluded that there are two suspects: one who shoplifted while another occupied the attention of the people in the store. The suspects have been identified through Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers as Ramon Smith and Martaveus Young, both of Greenwood. “
At this time, the Smith subject has been arrested and we are actively searching for the Young subject,” said KPD Investigator Greg Collins. “I would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping the Kosciusko Police Department in identifying these subjects."
