Overcoming claustrophobia

I have already said in this column that I am very claustrophobic.

When I have to ride an elevator, I cringe as the door closes and the box starts to rise, believing that it just might not open again.

We have several barn cats on our cattle farm that are good for keeping the rodent population in control. They are beautiful cats – two satiny black and two that are white bodies with striped gray tales, legs and faces.

Holding down two jobs isn’t for me

‘My plate ain’t big enough’

I have a nephew that I really love, and he is one of the funniest people I have ever been around.

My entire family was in a restaurant one time and were enjoying a buffet. As my nephew filled his plate, he made the remark, “My plate ain’t big enough.”
