To the Editor:
I was very grieved at the loss of my cousin Nancy Green. My mother and her mother were sisters.
From around 1960 until the day Nancy passed away, I knew her.
From 1960 until I was about 12 years old, my mom and I would spend weekends at her mom’s house. Nancy and her husband, Charles, would come up as well. I had four cousins that lived across the road and we would play the whole time.
When we would misbehave, Nancy would remind us that was not very nice. Charles would tell us not to be rude. Nancy and Charles were not parents themselves, but God blessed them with the ability to discipline Christian children in a godly manner. Nancy and Charles were both well-mannered Christian cousins.
Nancy let her light shine before others and God was glorified.
I will miss her. My birthday is 8/29/1955; I am almost 64, the same length of time that Nancy worked at the Star Herald.
