I want to recognize the wonderful animal hospitals we have in our town and tell others of the dignity and compassion in which our veterinarians serve.
Over the past year, we have lost both of our beloved dogs to old age. Dr. Stuart Bain and staff went beyond the call of duty for us during both of these difficult times. He came to our home and did everything he could to help ease our pain.
This past week, Dr. Bain went above and beyond to make Katie’s last moments less painful; the type of service you’d expect in a town like ours. I am certainly not trying to take anything away from Dr. Rea and his wonderful staff at Kosciusko Veterinary Clinic.
I fondly recall a few years back when Dr. Rea met us on a Sunday to remove a fish hook from our dog’s mouth. I’m not sure how vet clinics in other towns operate, but our community is fortunate to have Dr. Quick, Dr. Rea and Dr. Bain and the skill and honor in which they represent themselves.
The compassion they show does not go unnoticed, and our community is a better place having such fine doctors for our pets.
