The Attala County Self-Help Cooperative would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the businesses, individuals, and the community for their support for our Annual Founders Day Celebration.
The businesses that donated items for the auction or gave a donation were Scarborough Building Supply, Home Hardware, Wal-mart, Renasant Bank, Central Office Supply, Scott Propane, Fair Propane, Golden Triangle Propane, Kosciusko Auto Parts, Attala Oil, Kosciusko Furniture, Attala County Co-op, and Auto Zone. Special thanks also go to Terry Ray and Tony Parks for serving as auctioneers for the live auction.
Thanks also to the Sallis Fire Department, Attala County Sheriff Department, the McAdams High School Marching Band, and to all who entered trucks, tractors and equipment, antique cars, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and horses in the parade.
The co-op also thanks Ruben Fleming, Sr. for donating the live hog for the raffle, Wardell Jones and Steve Robinson for donating ribs for the dinner, the ladies and men of the co-op for the side dishes, drinks, and desserts; D.J. Del Juan Murray for providing music for the day, James Greenwood, and the many other individuals that gave donations, donated items and/or their time to make this year’s celebration a success. Again, thanks for your support as we continue to change the way America eats.
