Thelma Lou Oden Sayler
Thelma Sayler, 80, of McAdams passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the McAdams Baptist Church with burial to follow at Coleman Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
She is survived by her daughter Ashley Busby (Edward), grandsons Johnathon Sayler, Matthew Busby and Cullen Jenkins, nieces Sharon Rayback (Dale), Lorraine Asmussen, Laurine Dunning, Lynda LaRue and nephews Darryl Oden (Asper), Paul Oden (Toni) and Michael Oden (Jennifer).
Thelma was born January 17, 1945 to Rev. Paul Edward Oden and Zula Mae Green Oden in Nectar, Alabama. She married Darrell Sayler on August 17, 1974 in Hampton, Virginia. She was a homemaker and a member of McAdams Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Zula Green Oden, her husband Darrell Sayler, her sister Nellie Asmussen (Henry), her brothers Wayne Oden, Robert Oden (Lida) and William Oden (Elaine), her niece Betty Jo Oden and her nephew Beau LaRue.
