Jo Massey, 94, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at her residence in Kosciusko.
Funeral services were 12:00 noon Friday, August 8, 2025 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, August 8, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at Culpepper Funeral Home.
Jo is survived by her sons Larry Atwood, Dwain Atwood (Joyce), and Stan Atwood, brothers Thomas Huffman and John Huffman, grandchildren April Calvert (John) and Jonathan Atwood, great-grandchildren Claire and Hattie, and her very dear friends Sheila Barnett Linn and Mike Scannell.
She was a member of Kosciusko First Baptist Church and a retired LPN.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Jesse Edwards Huffman, husband Alton Massey, her children’s father Swanson Atwood, and sisters Evelyn Rowland, Bonnie Wood, and Bernice Huffman.
