Mr. Johnny Willis Jordan, 73, of Marydell community in Leake County, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at his residence. Visitation was held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Nile Cemetery. Charles Warren officiated the services.
Johnny was born on August 22, 1952, to Robert Dewitt Jordan and Dixie Willis Jordan in Leake County, Mississippi. He was married to the love of his life, Sherry Dale Jordan, for 52 years. Johnny retired from Maintenance District Manager at Pearl River Water Supply District and was a Master Builder and Carpenter Contractor, also. He had a passion for the outdoors, whereas he loved to go hunting and fishing every chance he got. Johnny loved studying the Bible and being a member of the church of Christ at Nile, where he enjoyed singing with pure joy. He loved his family and being with them and making those special memories with each one.
Johnny is survived by his loving and precious wife, Sherry Dale Jordan of Marydell Community; daughters, Jessica Crenshaw of Marydell Community, Melissa (Josh) Algood of Alabama; grandchildren, Jalen Algood, Lacie Algood (Bruce) Touchstone, Jordan (Viktoria) Rushing, John Crenshaw, Hannah Crenshaw, Dixie Crenshaw, Josie Crenshaw, and Jaxon Algood; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn Touchstone, and Summer Belle Rushing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dewitt Jordan and Dixie Willis Jordan.
Serving as pallbearers are Dennis Brock, Larry Newsom, Gerald Jordan, Robert Jordan, Bill Hettick, and Jan Vidonne. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Larry Black, Larry Hall, and Gerald Jordan.
