James “Jim” Pinney
Jim Pinney, 79, passed away October 9, 2025 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Funeral services are 10:00 am Monday, October 13, 2025 at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is 9:00 am until service time on Monday at Culpepper Funeral Home. There will be a private burial.
Jim is survived by his daughter Gina Melton (Steve), sons Devon Vowell (Stephanie) and John Vowell (Jennifer), brother Steve Pinney, 7 grandchildren Heather Melton, Blake Melton (Kim), Hannah Reed Melton (Jonathan Schultz), Jacob Townsend, Autumn Fulton (Davis), John Zachary Vowell (April), Jack Readen Vowell (Kenna) and 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was a member of Crestview Church and retired from Chevron.
He was preceded in death by his parents Osborn and Emma Lang Pinney and wife Beverly Edwards Pinney.
