Gayla Jones, 52, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Seneasha Church in Goodman. Visitation will be Sunday, September 14 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Seneasha Church. Interment will follow at Seneasha Cemetery.
Gayla is survived by her parents Pat and Karen Jones, son Stevie Ray Jones, daughter Nikki Jones, brother James Jones, sister Patricia Jones and niece Kayla, grandchildren Drake Crimm, Katie Jane Jones, and Brittney Burrell, biological mother Carol Dempsey and stepfather Steve Dempsey, and half-siblings James Faulkner (Tiffany), Heather Faulkner (Jimmy), Michael Faulkner (Jessica), and Mandy Burton (Brandon).
She was a member of Seneasha Church and was a waitress at Kaffay Mile-O-Way. She was a bright light to anyone who knew her. She had a smile that could and would light up every room she walked into. Gayla’s family, grandchildren, and friends were her world. She never missed a chance to decorate or celebrate. She was strong, outgoing, courageous, loving to all, and as beautiful as they come.
Brother David Cain will officiate the service.
