Sandra Kay Seawright Cochran, 64, died December 27, 2021, at UMMC.
Sandra was born on April 2, 1957, in Attala County, MS, to Connie Seawright, Jr. and Mary Annette Kernop.
She loved her flowers, sewing, and gardening. She was very active in Bowlin Baptist Church. She was the youth Sunday School teacher until she wasn't able to teach.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Lynn Seawright and Connie Seawright III.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Bo Cochran; her son, James (Junior) Cochran and wife Kim of Durant; daughter, Marsha C. Harlos and husband James of Kosciusko; six grandchildren, Desiree Cochran, Wayde Cochran, Natalie Harlos, Isabella Harlos, Lyla Harlos, and Carly Harlos; two sisters, Cynthia (Ira) Tubby and Carolyn Allen, both of Kosciusko; aunts, Lela Calhoun and Velma Kernop; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services were at Bowlin Baptist Church on Thursday, December 30, 2021, with burial following in the Bowlin Cemetery. Rev. Charlie McBride was in charge of the services.
Pallbearers were Josh Allen, Sam Townsend, Jamie Keith, David Box, Willie Tubby, and Brad Tubby. Honorary pallbearers were Aden Branch, Lane Tubby, and Zack Gant.
Southern Funeral Home of Lexington will be in charge of arrangements.
