Mary M. Rhodes, 88, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Parkway Cemetery. Randy Rhodes officiated.
Mary was born July 18, 1936, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Howard Leroy Miles and Maggie Lou Landrum Miles. She was a member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from Union Planters Bank.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Billy) Pearson of Kosciusko, Mississippi, and Donna (Paul) Woods of Kosciusko, Mississippi; grandchildren, Heather (Derek) McGuire of Madison and Eric Woods of Madison; one great-grandchild, Braxton McGuire; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Miles and Maggie Landrum Miles; husband, Fred Rhodes; son, Steven Mark Rhodes, three sisters, Maggie Alves, Kathleen Renfroe, and Marie Arnold.
Serving as pallbearers are Ryder Davis, David Fullilove, James Connor, West Frazure, Derek McGuire, and Chris Rhodes.
