Tommy Scott Thornton, 44, riverboat captain, died September 16, 2018.
Funeral services were Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Southern Funeral Home in Durant. Burial was in Mizpah Cemetery in Durant.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Montone, Christopher Pope, Scott Chandler, Damon Ingram, Greg Johnson and Jonathan Tucker.
Bro. Lyn Nations officiated.
Survivors are his wife, Amber A. Thornton; sons, Braden Ryan Thornton, Parker Scott Thornton and Swayer Shane Thornton; daughter, Hiley Claire Thornton; brother, Stephen Sloan Parkinson and sister, Heather Cherie Pope.
Preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Leroy Thornton and Marilyn Denise Eldridge Parkinson.
