Tommy Clarence Mallett, Sr.

Tommy Clarence Mallett, Sr. entered eternal peace on April 3, 2019, at the age of 64 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Mallett is a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He served as the first black Postmaster for the U. S. Post Office, Batesville, MS for 21 years, and retired as a truck driver/owner.

Mr. Mallett leaves to cherish his memory his only son, Tommy Mallett, Jr. (Demetria); his only daughter, Angela Mallett; two granddaughters, Mkenzie Peacock and Khyle Mallett; his mother, Arista Mallett; two sisters, Arlene Mallett and Patricia Ann Mallett; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Visitation (north) will be Monday, April 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Reids Golden Gate, 5665 N Teutonia Ave., Milwaukee, WI.

Visitation (south) will be Saturday, April 13, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Durant Missionary Baptist Church, 16455 N Jackson Street ,Durant, MS, with the final celebration of life service beginning at 11 a.m. Floral arrangements may be delivered directly to the church Saturday morning.
