Stephen Thrower Oliver

Stephen Thrower Oliver, T-Bo, passed from this life on January 13, 2020.

Stephen was born in Kosciusko, MS, on October 6, 1951, to William Owen Oliver, Sr. and Mary Ann Thrower Oliver.

He was a graduate of Kosciusko High School and Mississippi State University. He was a member

of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS, and had been attending Parkway Baptist Church in Kosciusko.

Stephen was always a "people person," which served him well in his insurance and funeral home careers. He suffered a disabling stroke in 1993, but never lost his sense of humor and sharp wit, and always loved sharing a good joke with friends. He is disabled no longer and is free from pain and limitations.

Stephen is survived by two sons, Jon Stephen Oliver and Robert Hayes Oliver; brothers, Owen Oliver (Jeanne), Ben Oliver, and David Oliver (Renae); grandchildren; extended family and a host of friends.

Special thanks to Stephen's personal care assistants, Tony and Shelia Brooks, whose care allowed him to live independently the last couple of years.

A celebration of life was held January 16 at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.

Culpepper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
