Mrs. Sarah Loree “Nanny” Heath, 95, of Zama, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Mrs. Heath was the daughter of Thomas and Emma Gregory. She was born on April 11, 1921. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m Friday, March 10, at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Heath was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandson, Wayne (Stephanie) Ornsbey of Zama; Will (Vanessa) Heath of Fort Greely, Ark.; son, Billy Heath of Arkansas; son in law, Charles Hobson of Zama; great-grandchildren, Brandon McQuagge, Meghan McQuagge of Troy, Ala., Kane Heath of Fort Gordon, Ky., Garrett Heath, Ellie Heath of Fort Greely, Ark., Brittany Heath of Prattville, Ala., Cody Ornsby, Autumn Ornsby and Amber Ornsby of Zama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard W. Heath; son, Charles T. Heath; daughter, Vivian L. Hobson; granddaughter, Kimberly B. McQuagge; brothers, Quitman (Yvonne) Gregory, Lester Gregory; sisters, Louise (Edward) Chitwood, Pauline (Alton) Johnson, Nellie F. Blannon, Annie L. Williams; nieces, Judy Chitwood, Teresa Murphy; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and very dear friends.
