Mrs. Sadie Payne, 74, of Sallis, passed away January 18, 2017.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at Shiloh Methodist Protestant Church with burial in Shiloh Cemetery.
Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Friday at Culpepper Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Frazure and Rev. Ralph Hunt officiated.
Mrs. Payne was a member of Shiloh Methodist Protestant Church. She was a retired beautician.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Ruth Morgan; husband, Roy Payne.
She is survived by son, Morgan Payne; daughter, Penny (Johnny) Mitchell; sister, Dovie Mae (Coot) Frazure; grandchildren, Sarah Mitchell (Marshall) Fleming, Jonathan Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Jack Case Fleming, Payten Grace Fleming.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Pee, Dusty Pee, Cody Pee, Jonathan Mitchell, Joe Jones, Glenn Matthews, Scott Chunn, David Hutchison, Tony Storey. Honorary pallbearers were Coot Frazure, Don Hutchison, Melvin Hutchison, Tony Clark, Marshall Fleming, Bobby Hendricks, Men at Shiloh Church.
