Nina Katherine Herring Watts, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko.
Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Sunday, March 18, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church with burial to follow in the Berea Cemetery. Rev. Shannon Pennington and Bro. Hunter Cockrell will officiate.
She was a member of the Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, William Lee Watts of Ethel and Sidney Watts of Kosciusko; daughters, Linda Newman and Mary Ann White, both of Kosciusko; seven grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Stanley Herring of McCool; sisters, Marjorie Stroud of Double Springs, AL, Fay Trussell of Grenada, MS, and Nell Desmond of Baton Rouge, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Watts; parents, Roy Lee and Irma Adams Herring; two grandchildren, Bo Watson and Candy Lynn Watts; son, Tommy Watts; and two daughters, Elizabeth Willhite and Debra Kay Smith.
