Myrle Cain, 87, of Sallis, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at Sallis Baptist Church; burial to follow at Sallis Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Culpepper Funeral Home. Rev. David Cain and Rev. Thomas Wicker will officiate.
Mrs. Cain was a member of Sallis Baptist Church, she taught Bible study and Sunday school.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Henry Cain; sons, Barry (Necie) Cain, Bruce (Linda) Cain; daughter, Jeannie (Talmadge) Parker; sisters, Carolyn Vance, Lois Jones, Joan Young, Nell Barfield; grandchildren, Amy Vlach, Caleb (Bethany) Cain, Bradlee (Cayla) Cain, Brandon (Samantha) Cain; great grandchildren, Parker, Larson, Maclynn, Cale, Evie Rae, Emma Bradlee; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Irvin and Hattie Carter Woods.
Pallbearers will be Jack Ables, Ronnie Stewart, Jimmy Rone, Robbie Robertson, Kenny “Bubba” Young, Donnie Vance.
