Milton Barnett, 94, of Kosciusko, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Leake County.Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Franks will officiate.
Mr. Barnett was an Army veteran serving during World War II. He was a retired carpenter and member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Richard “Bucky” Barnett; daughter, Melinda Wasson; brother, Frank Barnett; sister, Judy Adkinson; grandchildren, Chris Cox, Rusty Barnett, Ashley McDaniel; three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Barnett, Jeffrey McDaniel, Tony Adkinson, Joe Adkinson, Timmy Swain.
