Mrs. Mattie Mae Bailey, 78, of Kosciusko, passed away Dec. 2, 2016, in Jackson.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at the First United Pentecostal Church burial in Wake Forest Cemetery. Visitation was held from 11:30 a.m. Monday until service time. Rev. Shannon Pennington officiated.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. She was a homemaker, caretaker and housekeeper. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Greene and Estelle Lorene Odom and husband, James Bailey.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Hill Doyle; a son, David (Leah) Hill; sisters, Betty Davis, Rosie McElroy; brothers, Edward Odom, Donald Ray Odom; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
