Lynn Alldread, 73, passed away April 22, 2020, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were held Saturday, April 25, at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Rev. Butch Bell officiated.
Lynn was a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church. He graduated in 1964 from Kosciusko High School, served in the Mississippi National Guard from 1965-1971. He was a retired computer analyst/programmer following a 45-year career in the public utility industry. He served actively as a freemason at Trinity Lodge #88 of Kosciusko, where he served as master of the lodge in 2011, until bad health prevented him from doing so. He was a member of the Pearl Lodge #23 in Jackson where he was the Knight’s Templar.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Lepard Alldread; two brothers, Raymond Alldread of Conyers, GA, Steve Alldread of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Susan Sanders of Kosciusko, MS; three nephews, Jake McGee of Kosciusko, Josh McGee of Saltillo, MS, and Brian Alldread of Conyers, GA; two nieces, Kimberly Alldread and Emily Peters of Jacksonville, FL; six great-nephews and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents R.E. “Red” Alldread and Emmaline Gant Alldread.
Pallbearers were Jake McGee, Josh McGee, Casey Sanders, James Pettit, Tommy Coots, and Glenn Stevens.
