Luther “Jay” Hurbert Jarrett, Jr., 64, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at his home in Kosciusko.
Visitation is from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Jimmie Smith will officiate.
He was a member of the Abundant Life Church of God and the American Legion. He served his country in the United States Navy for 21 years.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Jarrett of Kosciusko; son, Kenneth Lewis of Kosciusko; daughters, Jaime Clark of Norfolk, VA, Stacey Riley of Kosciusko, Amber Greer of Kosciusko, Whitnie Clarke of Kosciusko, Kathy Gray of Ethel, Elsie Boatman of Kosciusko, and Julie Fulgham of Kosciusko; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Shelia Smith, Randy Vowell, Robert Vowell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Huffman; parents, Luther Hurbert Jarrett, Sr. and Maybell Edwards Jarrett; three sisters; and two brothers.
Pallbearers are Adam Cali, Kenneth Huffman, Joshua Huffman, Austin Huffman, Kenneth Lewis, and Randy Heron.
