Louise Hodges, 89, of the Carmack Community of Attala County passed away Feb. 3, 2018 at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS.
She was born May 16, 1928 to Joel & Maggie Overstreet Evans and the widow of Rudolph Hodges.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Hebron Baptist Church with burial in Hebron Cemetery with Pastors Billy Little and Jimmy Leach officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Modern Woodmen, Carmack Ladies Club and Live Wire at Vaiden Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Russell and her husband Mike of Marietta, Georgia; sons, Troy Hodges and his wife Carleen of Vaiden and Larry Hodges and his wife Jan of Gluckstadt, MS; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, U. L. Evans, James Travis Evans and Bobby Joe Evans of Vaiden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
