Louis Thomas Steen, 69, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation is from 2-3 p.m. Friday, January 27, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services are at 4 p.m. Friday at Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Jonas Horne will officiate.
He was of the Baptist belief. He was a natural born artist and an outstanding athlete. He was also a carpenter and loved his heritage and his family name.
Survivors include son, Zechariah Steen of Waco, Texas; daughters, Olivia Rosenthal of Columbus, Ga., Tobi Steen of Columbus, Ga., Beth Steen of Houston, Texas, and Dyanna Steen of Carthage; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arlis K. Steen, II and Daniel Ray Steen, Sr., both of Ethel; sister, Kim Bennett of Columbus, Ga; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his children, Melissa Smith and Louis Thomas Steen, Jr.
Pallbearers are Bubba Steen, Danny Steen, Darryl Steen, Victor Steen, Adam Steen, Tanner Steen, and Jim Bo Johnson.
