Lessi Mallett, 87, of Kosciusko, MS, passed away May 12, 2018 at her residence.
She was born March 9, 1931 in Kosciusko, MS, and was a secretary at Myricks Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Mallett Sr., whom she had married in 1960. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Harriet Saniford.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Mallett; and son, Dan Thomas Mallett; and one grandson, Dantrell Mallett.
She was a member of Christian Liberty M.B. Church.
The funeral will be at Christian Liberty M.B. Church on May 19, 2018, at 2 p.m., with burial following in Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS. Dr. Marvin K. Myles will officiate.
Pallbearers were Gary Kern, Antonio Riley, Michael Harmon, Leah Murrell, Donnie Gladney, and Tyrone Jamison.
Myricks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
